Control models 8440-3003 are produced by Woodward Company. When a generator set controller is required, this control model is basically integrated. A main feature of this control device is the dedicated relay for the circuit breaker and engine interface. This control device not only has a dedicated relay, but also has the function of remote and manual start/stop standby operation and rental power operation.
The 8440-3003 models are available for the easYgen-400, easYgen-600, and easYgen-800 models, meeting any needs you may have for this specific control. When it comes to the number of terminals on the 8440-3003 controller, it depends on the easYgen model you are using. The easYgen-400 model comes with 30 terminals, the easYgen-600 model comes with 44 terminals, and the easYgen-800 model comes with 62 terminals. Each terminal has a specific purpose, and cables should not be incorrectly connected to the terminals.
For engine protection of all forms of control devices, each control device is equipped with a crank disconnect and speed signal. Each easYgen model is equipped with an event recorder, but the easYgen-400 and easYgen-600 can only store up to 50 events, while the easYgen-800 can store 99 events internally. However, since the easYgen-800 model includes an SD card, it can save extended data and events that occur during control operations.
Woodward’s EasyGen-100 series is an automatic start/stop control device designed to isolate single generator units in backup or main power applications. The controller can start, stop, control, and protect the generator set. Adopting a compact design, it can easily fit into the control panel and has a crank disconnect function, providing additional safety protection for the engine.
