The new solutions are applicable to all industries, especially oil and gas, oil refining, petrochemical and life science operations. These industries need a central control room to manage multiple process areas, and can interact with a large number of other enterprise applications. The iOps workspace solution manages variable scale third-party software applications, real-time video feedback, and Emerson’s automation software and hardware, including the DeltaV distributed control system. OpSpace is Barco operator work area software, which provides a clear experience and helps control room operators work in a more intuitive way.

When developing OpSpace, we first collected feedback from field operators and the ideal working methods they described. Subsequently, we designed a near system based on these requirements, which greatly improved the efficiency and effectiveness of operators and the quality of decision-making.
